We are located in the valley surrounding the beautiful city of Boise, Idaho. Lavande is french for lavender. Lavande de Bois, roughly translated, means Lavender of Boise. Lavande de Bois grew out of my personal obsession for lavender. However, life is full of fragrance, and once I started making handcrafted soaps with lavender I couldn't resist the urge to use other essential oils as well. Our soaps are made with natural ingredients. For base oils I use all vegetable oils. And I only use essential oils made from the essence of plants. However, because life is so colorful, I couldn't resist the urge to add beautiful color to my soaps. Some of the soaps use ultramarines and oxides to add satisfying color. For many of the soaps I have been able to find all natural colorants. Please refer to each individual product for more information.
